Study
Rabbi Shimon teaches in Pirkei Avoth (The Ethics of our Ancestors), that the world stands upon three things:
Torah - Learning
Avodah - Service
G’milut Hasidim - Acts of Loving-kindness
At Eitz Chaim we embrace the teaching; these three pillars form the framework of our thriving synagogue community. Our members enjoy opportunities to engage in Jewish life: to learn, to serve, and to give aid. We benefit from the energy of our Rabbi, Board of Trustees, Sisterhood, Social Action and Bikur Cholim (aiding the ill) committees. Our members have many opportunities to enrich their Jewish lives with these three tenets.
